The Inheritance and Preservation of Buddhism — A Century of Buddhist Bonds in Hong Kong Vol. 4: Establishing the Tiantai Tradition in Hong Kong and the Founding of Wah Nam Buddhist Academy |
|
During the post-war revival of Buddhism in Hong Kong, education became key to preserving and passing on the true Dharma. This episode takes you into the Wang Fat Ching She in Tsuen Wan to explore the founding journey of the Wah Nam Buddhist Academy. Witness how the three esteemed masters from Northeast China—Masters Tangxu, Dingxi, and Leguo—rooted the Tiantai tradition in Hong Kong, nurtured a new generation of monastic talent, and carried forward the torch of the Dharma. |

Villa Cathay Care Home visited TLKYCS |
|
On September 17, elders from Villa Cathay Care Home visited the Society. Staff and volunteers warmly welcomed them, guiding a tour of the main hall and sharing insights on Buddhist culture and temple architecture. Visitors experienced the peaceful atmosphere of the Dharma centre. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a vegetarian lunch prepared with care by the Society.
We appreciate the visit and look forward to welcoming Villa Cathay Care Home again in the future. |
