We are saddened to share that our Founder, Mr. Robert Hung Ngai Ho, C.M., O.B.C., philanthropist, patron of contemporary Buddhism, newspaper journalist and editor, passed away peacefully in Vancouver, Canada on November 30, 2025, at the age of 93.

To cater for the Buddhist prayer services on December 16 and 17, our regular operations will be affected except for those relating to the Buddhist prayer services. Other temple or ancestral hall visitors are advised to schedule their visits on alternate dates.
Our office will also be closed during the prayer services.

1.December 16 (Tuesday), 12:30PM to 2:30PM: Three Sessions of Pure Land Remembrance Assembly, followed by 2:30PM ancestral tablet installation.

2.December 17 (Wednesday), 3PM to 6:30PM, Yogacara Yankou Offering Assembly to transfer merits. Online streaming NOT available.
Special notices:
1.Assembly duration may adjust as needed, visitors are advised to arrive at least 15 mins before and participate according to your capacity at ease.
2.Visitors will be guided by the monastics and volunteers to experience the solemn assembly. Please feel free to be seated or peacefully retreat from the back for a break. If you need any assistance or feel uncomfortable, please raise your hand to seek support. Please refrain from eating inside the Grand Buddha Hall.
3.Please turn your electronic devices to silence mode and refrain from photo/video taking during the assembly. You understand and consent that TLKYCS reserves all rights to any photograph/video during the events without your expressed written permission. |
