The Relationship Between Buddhist Chants and Body–Mind Well-being – Abbot Venerable Tsang Chit |
Abbot Venerable Tsang Chit clearly explained the subtle connection between Buddhist chanting and the body–mind. He discussed daily liturgy, the use of musical instruments in practice, and illustrated the Dharma’s meaning through the “Marvelous Offerings of the Six Sense Objects” from the Water and Land Dharma Assembly, concluding with blessings of the “Supreme Three Jewels.” |

Understanding the Pure Land Path |
Mr. Alan Kwan shared that Pure Land practice is not only for the moment of death. Centered on the Amitabha Sutra, the teaching emphasizes reciting the Buddha’s name as the main practice, while cultivating faith and vows throughout life.
Lifetime practice and assisted recitation at death are connected: sincere practice during life enables Amitabha’s vow to embrace one at death, while assisted recitation helps bring lifelong faith and vows to fruition.

Year-end temple cleaning |
As the year renews, the Master invited everyone to the temple on January 28 and 31 for the annual cleaning—removing dust and defilements to welcome the new year and invite blessings. Devotees joyfully offered their time and effort to support the Dharma place. May this purification cleanse both inner and outer realms, dignify the temple, and foster a harmonious environment for practice. May the coming year bring diligent cultivation, steady progress on the Bodhi path, wholesome health, and abundant merit and wisdom.
