Buddhist Resource Box |
|
Recently, we developed a Buddhist Resource Box and donated them to hospitals and care facilities in the Greater Vancouver areas. The Resource Box contains select English and Chinese Buddhist books and reference materials of different sects. Patients and their families can access them during their stay in the hospitals or care facilities. If your institution is interested in receiving one, please feel free to contact us. |

In the 10th session of the LCSG course, we had the honor of inviting Venerable Hin Yan to share on the topic "Contemplating on the Emptiness of the Five Aggregates." Venerable delved deeply into the nature of the Five Aggregates, explaining how understanding their emptiness can help us overcome attachment, leading to inner peace and wisdom. |

On 17 and 31 August, TLKYCS held the "Sowing seeds in your mind" planting course. The instructor guided the participants in planting or crop rotation based on the "transformation and succession of soil, plants, and organisms." Through observing the planting process and results, participants gained better wisdom of dependent origination. |
