The Sixteen Gates of Contemplations is a practice method for Pure Land Buddhism practitioners. Through the guidance of the classics and the combination of recitation of the Infinite Life Sutra and Five Assembles Reciting the Buddha’s Name\, participants will gain an understanding of the profound meaning and content of the scriptures. While “Taking Refuge” marks the beginning of Buddhist learning\, the “Five Precepts” are essential guidelines for Buddhist practitioners’ daily life.
