"Understanding the Three Refuges and Five Precepts."

The Society will organize an introductory lecture on "Understanding the Three Refuges and Five Precepts" in Buddhism. We respectfully invite Venerable Wai Leung to introduce the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha (the Triple Gem) . While "Taking Refuge" marks the beginning of Buddhist learning, the "Five Precepts" are essential guidelines for Buddhist practitioners' daily life. By taking the Three Refuges and Five Precepts, we embark upon the path of peace and liberation from suffering.

Buddha's Birthday Assembly & Open Days 2024

To celebrate the Buddha's birthday in May, the Society is organizing a pre-cerebration assembly and open days on May 11-12. Through the celebration, we pay respect to the Buddha by "bathing" the Buddha while purifying our mind, with an aspiration to follow the teachings of the Buddha and may his compassion shine through the world. In addition, the Society will also organize open days with guided tours, booth activities, and experiential practice. We hope to celebrate this Buddha's birthday with the public with these religious and cultural activities.
