In the gentle light of spring, Tung Lin Kok Yuen, Canada Society hosted the 2025 Buddha’s Birthday Ceremony and Open Day on May 3–4. With the theme “Buddha’s Birthday · Join us and relax: an open day at the temple,” the event invited the community to pause and meet the in compassion. From the solemn bathing ceremony to mindful crafts and Dharma interactions, nearly 400 participants entered this peaceful space and experienced the warmth of the Dharma in everyday life.

On the morning of May 4, the Buddha Bathing Ceremony was held in the Grand Buddha Hall. Devotees offered flowers, bathed the Buddha, and made heartfelt dedications. Whether or not you are familiar with Buddhism, this ritual welcomed everyone ready to pause and reflect.
