[Event Review]

The national conference of Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC) was held in B.C. during April 23-25. The Society is one of the major sponsors. At the conference, the Society shared with participants our values and vision. We also took the opportunity to introduce our community service initiatives with the spiritual health practitioners. Our representatives hosted two workshops on the application of mindfulness in the medical and spiritual care profession, respectively. We explored the potential contributions of mindfulness to care seekers, care givers, and the health care professionals.
