大雄寶殿東西兩側，分別供奉延生堂與止觀堂，象徵修行中的兩重向度：一為祈願發心，一為觀心調伏。

東側延生堂供奉藥師琉璃光如來，兩旁侍立日光與月光菩薩，堂內設有長生祿位。根據《藥師經》記載，藥師佛於菩薩行中發下十二大願，護念眾生消災延壽、福慧具足。信眾於此供燈禮拜，祈求身心安穩，願力增上。

西側止觀堂空間清靜，堂內供奉禪宗初祖達摩祖師原木雕像，側牆懸掛弘一法師所書《四無量心銘》。此墨寶原供奉於香港東蓮覺苑，加國東蓮落成時由港方贈送，安奉於堂內。堂內另設徐善青繪製之十八羅漢圖複製本，共六幅，每幅三位羅漢，象徵護法與觀照。

止觀堂的設立，是鼓勵大眾在聞思佛法的同時，要經常靜坐，培養定慧力的增上，當面對各種外境衝擊或誘惑時，才能調伏煩惱。

On the east and west sides of the Grand Buddha Hall are respectively the Longevity Hall and Meditation Hall stand as twin pillars of practice, symbolizing aspiration through prayer and discipline through mindful observation.

The Longevity Hall enshrines Bhaisajyaguru, the Medicine Buddha, acccompanied by Sunlight and Moonlight Bodhisattvas on the sides, with a longevity altar established in the Hall. According to the Medicine Buddha Sutra, the Medicine Buddha made twelve great vows as a Bodhisattva, pledging to protect beings from calamity, extend their lives, and bestow blessings and wisdom. Devotees offer lamps and prayers here, seeking peace and strengthened resolve.

The Meditation Hall on the west side radiates serene stillness. At its center, a camphor wood statue of Patriarch Bodhidharma, the Ch’an founder in the east presides. Adorning the side wall is Master Hongyi’s calligraphy, The Inscription of the Four Immeasurables, originally enshrined at Tung Lin Kok Yuen in Hong Kong and gifted to this temple upon its completion. Six duplicated paintings by Xu Shanqing, each depicting three of the eighteen arhats, grace the hall, symbolizing guardianship and introspection.

The Meditation  Hall invites practitioners to complement their study of the Dharma with silent meditation, cultivating concentration and wisdom. Amid life’s distractions and temptations, this space fosters the mastery of afflictions.
